precious weekends..

wow! time zooms pass like never before!!!...

it must be a very good choice to leave the previous work place to this work place. in fact, it is NOT a workplace.. this place is so special.. it speaks about what i wanna do in life.. spread the love of compassion, nature, outdoor... inexhaustive list of stuffs to spread.. so that the world becomes a better place to live in..

at least, now i am sober about "try your best and leave the rest to God"

weekends have never been so precious before and time spend with Him has never been so precious too! though i yearn for more time but i think this is what is meant by QUALITY TIME..
=)

anyway, i have slowly adapting to the lifestyle here.. though busy.. i am happy that i am contributing in building the future of the nation... like what jing yng has said before... what we can do is to try our best and hopefully along the way, the kids remember what we said and bingo! our job is done. yeah!

achieving goals written half year ago

SOLITUDE time

this is the letter i wrote to myself when i was having solo 3D2N during OBS 21 days...

Dear xx,

you have always been keeping yourself busy so that you could avoid going back to your sad childhood; but have you ever wonder whether you were really resolving the issues or were you just avoiding them? should you face the issues; be brave to face your past; cos you are a victim and not the predator. you did not ask for such things to happen to you so why are you blaming yourself, it is time to pamper yourself, it is time to make sure you are happy. if you don't listen, nobody would. if you don't pamper, no one would. if you are not happy, no one would. remember why others bully you? cos you bully yourself! stop punishing yourself and start giving yourself a life! why care so much about others for the expense of yourself? they should learn to hear you too.

miraculously, though you are alone at solo... you don't feel lonely for the 1st time! maybe you have started to appreciate the people around you and the things that you have. you know that although you are away for 21 days; HE is waiting for you to be back; your family is waiting to see you safe and sound back home; your friends might be missing your company and they would be happy when you are back home. yes, you did feel frustrated doing things alone but in reality, you are a person who adapts fast and bingo! you are getting used to it already. you thought you could never be alone but you are not totally right. you could survive on your own 'cos in life, you need solitude time to heal --> physically, mentally & psychologically... REST for a better tomorrow

you came in with an open mindset such that you could receive and contain. though you were injured on day 2, you continued to learn. how have you developed throughout these 2 weeks? you have become physically fit and mentally stronger 'cos you were given opportunities to observe and learn. intellectually too.. esp. in your job area.

what were your objectives?
(1) know yourself better
(2) to be a good participant

you know your strengths
you re-visit your weaknesses
you are back to your old self .selfless .generous .enthusiastic .strong .cheerful .happy

weaknesses (A.F.I.) includes...
too emotional --> use less of emotions while doing work.
yes, compassion for people but not every single situation.

.participative .sporty .spontaneous .give people chance to lead .take up & try different roles (esp. follower)

you should continue to discover yourself and don't forget who you are.

what's yours performance? excellent! though your comfort zone is larger than others. there were times you were challenged too (e.g. solo, cutter, jetty jump) and yes! challenged to sleep less; you tried hard to stay awake during lesson though you were sleepy. hold back? no, you did not! when you were ready, you took up leadership role. when you don't feel like it then you just be a good participant. followership time 9/10. leadership time 9/10.

Areas to work on... you need to learn how to read signs (EQ) and learn to speak clearly & communicate to people; making sure that you speak what you mean. stop putting inappropriate expressions and tones such that other people misinterpret totally.

yes, it does not feel perfectly fine to listen to the unknown side of you. nevertheless, you readily accept the feedback and is ready to modify it according to your situation but it is not necessary to change yourself so that you suit others or you want to make people happy. it is definitely not necessary.

just
(1) think before you talk (be careful of the tone you use)
(2) don't feel so much for situations that does not require emotions -giving too much to kids -feeling too much about comments that is being made -feeling sad/angry about things that others do that is beyond your control & seriously none of you business!

-go for speech course
-go for anger management course
-go for relaxation course
-complete counselling by end of march
-cry less
-get angry less
-speak slower; eat slower; eat less; exercise more
-pause 5 secs before talking; chew & finish before the next mouth of food; buffet only once a month then once in 3 months; exercise everyday (5BX)
